House Bill 1530

House Bill 1530 will transfer licensing and regulation of 

Mosquito Control from Texas Department of State Health Services

to the Teas Department of Agriculture.  This will help to reduce 

our current license fees.  The TMCA strongly supports this 

legislation and asks that members demonstrate their support 

by writing letters.
 


Currently, this bill is under consideration in the house by

the Agriculture Committee.  We ask anyone who can to send 

a letter of support to members of the committee. 



We have drafted a sample letter, and have it available in two 

different forms.  The first is a word document that can be 

modified and mailed.  The second is a page of text that you can 

cut and paste into an email.
